I ushered in my 40th year while enjoying the above view of the most Easterly point of Australia. Truth be told: I have felt more contemplative about this birthday than any other birthday in the past. 

This birthday has inspired reflection upon the path that led me here to this moment and thoughtfulness about the path before me. Living here is Australia after such a major uprooting also offers a perfect venue to check myself.  

That all being said, I welcome the coming decade with a big smile-life really does keep getting better and better......

Right now:

I love fresh orange juice.

Coastal scenery from where we currently live.

Lots o' muffins everyday. 

Thin lemon pancakes are a present day favorite.

Pots of dahl are on the stove to warm our bones during this Australian winter.

And these three......how I am overflowing with love for them.
